Error "unable to launch application"

The error message saying "unable to launch application" while launching the desktop app can have two main reasons:

If you are launching the Geotag Photos app from file which is stored on your hard drive and than getting this error message, all you have to do is go to geotagphotos.net, login with your username and password, click on blue  button labeled "launch the application 
" and Geotag Photos should start correctly.

If this is not the case, please try to delete so called Java cache.
