This can be done only on Geotag Photos 2 on iOS (Android doesn't have a version of GP Tagger).
It is possible to just go to the History on in the app, tap on the ... on the right side of the trip, choose share trip, choose open in... and pick copy to GP Tagger.(History> Tap ...> Share trip> open in > copy to GP tagger)
