Camerito works with two device roles: Camera Station (stays in the room, records footage) and Viewer Station (connects remotely to cameras, reviews Events,...). All supported devices can function as either Camera Station or Viewer Station, but not simultaneously. Here’s how to pair them:
To Add a Viewer Station:
- Install the Camerito App: Download and open the Camerito app on the device you wish to use as a Viewer Station.
- Choose Viewer Role: Upon opening the app, choose "Viewer Station".
- Log In or Sign Up: If you already have a Camerito account, log in. If not, follow the prompts to create a new account.
To Add a Camera Station:
- Install the Camerito App: On the device intended to be used as a Camera, download and open the Camerito app.
- Choose Camera Role: Select the "Camera Station" option to set this device as your camera.
- Pair with a Viewer Station: To add your Camera Station to your account, follow these steps on one of your Viewer Stations:
- Open the Camerito app
- Tap the ☰Menu (top left corner)
- Choose "Add camera"
- Enter the code displayed on the Camera Station and confirm
💡 Good to know:
- After pairing, the camera is linked to your Camerito account and accessible from all Viewer Stations.
- All supported devices can be set as either Camera Station or Viewer Stations.
- Free accounts can pair up to 3 camera devices; there's no limit for ⭐️ Premium users.
